Oh God, beside you I know not of any King of The ThroneMy tongue speaks of no other name but Yours
My eyes are accustomed to nothing except Your Creed and HandiworkThere is no invocation upon my tongue, except Your praise
[God speaking:]
Oh gnostic: take honour in Me, for I Am The Lord of the worldI Am The King of the Universe and The Knower of Hidden Mysteries
I Alone Know the unseen: I and no one elseI Am The Knower of mysteries, as I Know about all things concealed
I Am Pure and Infallible, The Seer of all of creation's faultsI Am The Forgiver and Concealer of the faults of all
I See all, but the seers do not see My EyesI Speak all, but the speakers do not see My Tongue
Verily, I Hear the speech of all creationI Cause the hearers of the world to hear
I Am The Living and The Self-Subsistent, and when no one remains......I Alone Remain The Dependable, The One, The Self-Subsistent
I Am The King of planets and temperaments: those planets I am not!*I am not still like temperaments, nor in motion like planets
I sleep not. Nor am I beside a thing or in its midstI laugh not. I cry not. I am not like this, nor like that
I am neither of light, nor darkness. Neither of essences, nor elementsI am not below, nor above – I Am The King of Time and Space!
Whatever you perceive Me to be: that I am not!Whatever your mind grasps about Me: that I am not!
Whatever your mind grasps, all that is creationTruly know, oh servant, that I Am The Creator of them**
Day and night, through My Favours, Generosity, Bounties and Majesty......Three-Hundred-and-Sixty Glances I Cast upon your heart
If I Withhold a single Glance of Grace from your wounded heart......in no time will you be killed by the sword of helplessness
I truly am The Real 'Thing', and not a thing of phantasyThe Creator of all things, The Lord of the World
I am the Revealer of the Torah, Gospel and PsalmsI am the Revealer of The Criterion*** and the Month of Ramadan
[Only] I [can] Describe Myself, for I Am The Indescribable CreatorNone is from Me, nor am I from Any. Neither from this, nor from that
I am The Lord who lets the God-conscious hearts......taste the Light of My Eternal Beauty at each moment
A hundred years of disbelief I Forgive with one confessionA hundred years of sin I Pardon with one apology
After death I Take you under the soil, with your grieved heartI Shall Put you to sleep and Bring peace to your mind
Then I Will Raise you from the earth on Resurrection DayIn that assembly, I will not reveal your secrets
I Will Let you cross the bridge of Serat, and Save you from tormentI Shall Take you to Paradise and Seat you at a bountiful table
I Will Give you the Wine of Longing; intoxicating through TheophanyI Will Remove the veils and Make you see your [true] self
Bit by bit, your good deeds I Shall Accept by My FavourMountains and mountains of sin, I Will Pardon by My Generosity
Oh My servant, every gift I Have Given you......I will not take back. So rejoice, oh slave!
[Sana'i speaking:]
Whoever says that God cannot**** be seen on the Day of ResurrectionHe truly won't see! I am not one of those lost ones
Oh God, You fulfil all the hopes of Sana'i......since I am a Muslim, Oh Lord, and not one heedless
